Another month has passed., and I have been very slack in my blogging. The only excuse I have is that I have been away in the early part of August, then when I came back, been doing extra shifts at work.
I finally finished block 5 in The Happiness Quilt BOM by Monica Poole.
Thank you for taking time to stop by. Happy stitching. Sharon
I finally finished block 5 in The Happiness Quilt BOM by Monica Poole.
I also finished block the 7 in The Hexie BOM, this month it was the sun
I have made a start on the sashing
I have also been working on some blocks associated with Possum Magic and Compass Quilters.
The shawl I have been knitting in Kelbourne Mystery KAL is almost completed, I am on the border rows. Once I have completed the shawl, I shall post some photos. I really want if finished and offf the knitting needles over the weekend, as I have signed up with Sweater babe for a scarf knita long.
The hexie sun looks bright and fun. You might have been away and busy at work, but it seems like you have had a lot of sewing and knitting going on, too! No wonder you haven't had time to write on your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI have wanted to write on my blog, have missed it, also the internet out here in the bush is hit or miss, so sometimes I have to wait until I drive into town.
DeleteYou've managed to get lots of fun things done. Your hexie block looks like a sun. I've been working extra shifts at work too, I think it makes sewing time more precious.
ReplyDeleteI agree re the extra shifts equals sewing time more precious, they NUM smiles when I say work interferes with my sewing time.
